Ryan Fox

A native of Greenwood, Arkansas, Ryan Fox is a DMA student and graduate teaching assistant in the choral conducting program at The University of Kansas. While at KU, Ryan has conducted the World Music Choir and Chamber Choir. Ryan has also accompanied the Symphonic Choir, Men's Glee, and Oread Singers. Currently Ryan is the conductor for the KU Women's Chorale and associate conductor for the Ad Astra Singers. Additionally Ryan is accompanist and choral assistant for the West Junior High School Chorale in Lawrence.

Prior to his work in Kansas, Ryan was an active musician in Arkansas. For over 10 years he served an organist and choral director in a variety of churches. From 2003 – 2007 Ryan was the head choir director at Clarksville High School in Clarksville, Arkansas. He also served on the faculty for the Arkansas Choral Connections choir camp and was active as an accompanist throughout the state. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Music in education and a Master of Music in choral conducting from the University of Central Arkansas and is a member of ACDA, MENC, and Phi Mu Alpha, Sinfonia.
